After an equipment failure at their Nov. 16 concert at the Roberts Creek Hall, Delhi 2 Dublin vowed to come back to the Sunshine Coast for another electric performance next year.

Organizer Linda Williams is encouraging everyone who attended to keep their ticket stubs to trade for a free one in 2014. She said more details will be forthcoming soon.

On their Facebook page, Delhi 2 Dublin praised the Coast crowd for their enthusiasm and good nature and were sorry they could not put on the type of show their fans are accustomed too.

"Wow, what a weekend," they wrote. "The full moon kicked our butts. At our show in Victoria on Friday, our keyboard died, the dhol broke, and then that night someone broke into our van. Thankfully nothing was stolen. The next night in Roberts Creek, our hard drive died minutes before we started. Despite an hour of trying to rescue it, we had to cancel the show - for the first time in eight years. It was heartbreaking for us.

"If there was a place for it to happen, it was Roberts Creek Thanks for being so understanding. We know some folks wanted us to just play acoustically, but we honestly didn't feel good about not giving you our 100 per cent. We'll be back, and we'll throw down twice as hard. We're already settling on a date.

"Thanks again for understanding, and we love you."
