Indie author S.D. (Darla) Forster has self-published a comical and touching book, Darla’s Last Kick at the Can, in which she recounts her own tragic, funny and ultimately rewarding experiences of online dating as a mature woman.
Darla persists in her quest, despite dating guys who are sinister or downright weird. The book includes good advice for those considering finding a partner through Internet introductions.
For sisterly support, Darla turns to her long-time friend, Sunshine Coast writer Diane Foley, who contributed greatly to the book. The two launched their project on April 28 in Davis Bay amid warm friends and dry martinis.
