The Coast Academy of Dance and their competitive team have had another successful festival and competition season, bringing home high scores and numerous awards. They have recently competed in the Sunshine Coast Festival of Arts and the Star Talent Competition at the Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby. They competed at Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Adult levels. The team performed nine groups, 14 solos, four duets and three trios with choreography by Elwin Alpuerto, Molly Carpenter, Ivana Cappelletto, Terra Dannes, Christina Fitchett, Kathy Holmes, Becky Izad and Kristie Sita. Kudos to the many parents and friends who helped with costumes and supported the team.
