Delia Anderson, Zofia Baturin and Emily Stoddart have all recently graduated from the Coast Academy of Dance’s pre-professional program in Sechelt. They have successfully passed their Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing teaching diploma, which is a qualification that is recognized the world over.

Pictured here with Coast Academy director Julie Izad and pre-professional associate instructor Christina Fitchett, the girls are looking forward to the next chapter of their lives. They all hope to use their teaching diploma in the coming years.

The Coast Academy would like to congratulate them all and celebrate how they have worked so hard juggling high school, 20 hours of dance a week and part-time jobs.

The Coast Academy is proud to have been running the pre-professional program for 10 years now. The studio has had an incredible success rate, having trained and guided senior students, many of whom have gone on to teach and dance professionally.

The Coast Academy of Dance also offers dance and acrobatic classes for all levels of ability and for all age groups. Registration for the upcoming season will be ongoing until classes begin on Sept. 19.
