Alaya Conway is the latest Coast Academy of Dance student to earn her ISTD (International Society Teachers of Dancing) associate teaching certification in the Modern faculty. Conway successfully passed her teaching examination in May. She trained for the examination under Christina Darwin, who has entered more than 20 successful candidates over the past 13 years. Conway is one of the many students who completed their ISTD examinations at The Coast Academy this dance season. Despite the many obstacles that the year presented, over 25 examinations were taken, all earning top marks.
