The Squamish Nation’s singing, drumming and dancing Ocean Canoe Family got a whole lot bigger for a while on Sunday, Sept. 5 as hundreds of people flocked to Winegarden Park in Gibsons for an event organized by Music in The Landing. Dozens of people from the audience took up the invitation to join in on several ritual dances.
