It's Art Crawl time again on the Sunshine Coast, and the number, diversity of disciplines and styles showcased in the 101 galleries and studios opening their doors (and properties) is as impressive as the organization of this huge event by the Coast Cultural Alliance.
The Alliance's mandate of "working to enhance the economic vitality of the Sunshine Coast through cultural sector development" is addressed and then some in this third Annual Art Crawl, from Langdale to Lund, Oct. 19 to 21.
The sophistication and coordination of the Crawl deserves serious accolades. The world class brochure and website are full of easy accessible information on every artist and gallery, including the best map I have seen for an event such as this. Coast Cultural Alliance, take a bow.
