Coast Art Beat: Deck the Halls Artisan Fair is on this weekend in Sechelt

The first Christmas Fair produced by the Sunshine Coast Arts Council took place in 1979 in the current Sunshine Coast Arts Centre. This is the first year it has has expanded to two venues. Daniel.Candal / Getty Images

The annual Deck the Halls Artisan Fair, organized by the Sunshine Coast Arts Council, has returned. Running until Nov. 20, the fair takes place both in the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre building as well as the Sechelt Seniors’ Activity Centre across the street.  

Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event, and festive food treats will be available for purchase. A new opening night gala is planned for Friday, Nov. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Hours are Friday Nov. 18, 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday Nov. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
