Producer Michael Snook will be bringing the hit CBC comedy to Sechelt March 28 to April 2.

On Saturday March 29 at the Seaside Center, Snook will screen an episode of Little Mosque, and answer questions from the public about the series and its production. He will also give a seminar on making film documentaries to Linda Doerksen's media class at Elphinstone Secondary School. This class, under the supervision of Doerksen and Steve Sleep, is responsible for the production of programs shown on Cable 11.

Little Mosque on the Prairie was created by Zarqu Nawaz, is produced by Westwind Pictures and is broadcast on CBC Television in Canada. It is now seen in more than 80 countries around the world including the Middle East and North Africa.

Snook is a writer, producer and executive producer with more than 400 hours of television production credits of documentaries, reality documentaries, performing arts and dramas and natural sciences. As well as being one of the producers and executive producers of Little Mosque on the Prairie, he has been a sessional lecturer on film and television production at the University of Regina and a guest lecturer on documentary film making.The pubic is welcome to the screening and discussion of Little Mosque starting at 7:30 p.m.
