After an uncertain future following the 2007 event, organizers of the Bonfire Music Festival have announced the event's return for 2008.
The festival, three days of music, camping and celebration, is set for Aug. 22 to Aug. 24 at Lions Park in Pender Harbour.Confirmed artists thus far include: Themasses, Relentless Couchmen, Rabnett 5, Baked Potato, Cool Stick, Ty West and many more to come in the following weeks.
Weekend passes (includes camping and parking) are $75 in advance and $90 at the gates. Day passes (which do not include camping and parking) are $25 in advance and $30 at the gates for Aug. 22, $35 in advance and $40 at the gates for Aug. 23 and $25 in advance and $30 at the gates for Aug. 24.
Overnight camping passes will be available to day ticket purchasers at the gates for $5 per camper, subject to availability.Tickets will be available soon at www.bonfirefestival.com and at Chemistry Clothing (Gibsons), MELOMania Music (Roberts Creek), 420 Hemp Shop (Sechelt) and Oak Tree Market (Madeira Park).
