The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts hosted a welcoming reception for authors and guests in the Seaside Centre on Thursday, Aug. 16. Canada’s longest running summer gathering of Canadian writers and readers, the Festival celebrates its 36th year in 2018, running Aug. 16 to 19 in the Rockwood Centre. The nationally-recognized event attracts writers from across the country and an audience of over 8,000 people over four days.
