The annual pre jazz festival concert that highlights the January Coast concert scene brings Soulstream back to the Coast on Jan. 21.
This 10-piece band promises a night of powerhouse funk, soul and jazz at the Roberts Creek Hall on Saturday night, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance, available from Coast Books, Strait Music and MELOmania.
Soulstream brings 10 internationally acclaimed musicians together including Tim Fuller and Rebecca Shoichet, lead vocals; Brad Turner, keyboards, trumpet; Randall Stoll, drums; Darren Parris, bass; Rob Hamilton, guitar; Karen Graves, sax, flute, vocals; Vince Mai, trumpet, Bill Runge, bari/alto sax andpercussionist extraordinaire,Pepe Danza. This is the perfect party band with a killer set list from James Brown and Tower of Power to Herbie Hancock and everything in between.
They love to play on the Sunshine Coast and they always sell out the hall. Their first class funk and soul keeps the crowd pumped to dance all night.
