British comedians James Brown and Jamesy Evans are performingtheir award-winning production of2 for Teaat the Gibsons Heritage Playhouse on Oct. 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Since debuting at the London Fringe Festival in June, 2 for Teahas quickly blossomed as abona fidehit on the Canadian fringe theatre circuit, attracting sold out audiences and standing ovations and winning theatre awards in every city.
In addition, they will lead two physical comedy workshops at the Arts Building on Oct. 12 - Clown Embodiment and Impulses from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Self & Audience Awareness from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
England's critically acclaimed surreal physical comedy duo lures you into their "delightfully bizarre" world with their innocence and "endearing chemistry."

Live poet
The Gibsons Live Poet Society announces the start of their fall season.
All the readings, as in the recent past, will take place at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery and will start at 7 p.m.
This Saturday, Oct. 5, the first reader of the season will be Sharon Thesen. She is currently faculty at UBC Okanagan and has published many books of poetry.

Wayzgoose Fair
Coast authors Theresa Kishkan and John Pass (High Ground Press) will be participants at the Alcuin Wayzgoose Printing Fair on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vancouver Public Library.
They'll have letterpress broadsheets and chapbooks they have published going back to the '80s, as well as trade editions of their own books available. Admission is free.
India book launch
Author Heather Conn will be doing a mini-reading this Sunday, Oct. 6, in Vancouver at a book launch for the anthology, Emails from India: Women Write Home.
About eight of the 30 contributors, including Conn, will be reading excerpts.
The book, edited by Janis Harper, is published by Seraphim Editions of Ontario. The People's Co-op Bookstore will be handling book sales and signings by the writers. The event will be from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Café Deux Soleils, 2096 Commercial Drive. There's a wonderful humanitarian aspect to it: Seraphim is donating a dollar from the sale of each book to World Literacy Canada, a non-profit organization promoting women's literacy in India.
