The long-awaited reopening of the Loon Foundation’s EarthFair Store in its new location across from the Pender Harbour Community Hall will be happening soon. While you wait you can visit their Facebook page and explore the fine selection of books, new titles and all the favourites.
The early freezing temperatures have prompted changes in weekly events. The Bargain Barn has changed their donation procedure. As of Friday, Nov. 6, clean, quality, resaleable donations will be accepted at the PH Community Hall 1 to 4 p.m. and continue Fridays only. The Bargain Barn pop-up will carry on at the Legion Saturdays and Wednesdays noon to 3 p.m. Thanks to all from The Barn for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated.
The Saturday Madeira Market has ended their highly successful season earlier than expected. Many thanks to the wonderful vendors and the folks who came to visit and shop. With Christmas coming, the Madeira Market’s vendors have merchandise for sale perfect for gift giving. Washable cloth masks in great patterns at nice prices available. Live music continues at the Clubhouse thanks to the hard work and constant fine tuning during these challenging times of Mike and his family. This Friday night, famous Sunshine Coaster Joe Stanton will be performing 5 to 8 p.m. Have some fine food and drinks while enjoying the best of the best. Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m., Half Cut and The Slackers will be there to make your afternoon a special one. Reservations recommended.
