Totstander

The Rotary Club of Sechelt recently donated a Leckey Totstander pediatric standing frame to the Early Intervention Team of Sunshine Coast Community Services. The Totstander is a specialty piece of equipment used to facilitate a standing position in young children who are unable to stand on their own due to a developmental delay. It will serve the needs of one- to three-year-olds with gross motor delay who are unable to access equipment through the Provincial At Home program because they are too young, don’t yet have a diagnosis, or otherwise don’t qualify for the program. Motion Specialities of Burnaby supplied the stander at a discount.
