The Poetry of Line with works from Alexis Bach, Jill Denton and Catherine Nicholls opens June 26 and continues to Aug. 1 at Fibreworks Studio and Gallery. The Clubhouse live music events this weekend has local favourite entertainers performing for your enjoyment. The Friday Night Dinner Show, June 18, 5 to 8 p.m., the funny, wildly talented Eddy Endrik will have a menu of great songs. Sunday, Poppa Greg and his band will have you feeling happy with the blues from 2 to 5 p.m. Reserve now. $5 cover for Sunday’s show.
A kind reminder from a local resident. Broom, that invasive, highly flammable, sneeze-inducing yellow bush, is seeding out. If you haven’t done so, now is a very good time to yank it out or cut it to the ground.
