The 2023 Sechelt Electric Vehicle Festival Sept. 16 was another success!
With more than 50 electric vehicles on display including cars of many types, commercial vehicles, scooters, bikes, motorcycles, mobility scooters and more, the hundreds of attendees learned about the many options for electric transportation.
Fun Fact: The bouncy castle and speakers series were powered off of the batteries from E-Trucks!
Running the bouncy castle all day only used up the equivalent of 10km of range! Amazing!
So fun to show people what you can do with a mobile battery.
There were EV models never seen before on the Coast and many member hosts volunteered their time to bring their vehicles to share their enthusiasm with their friends and neighbours. SCEVA was thrilled with the surprising number of tourists who came through to check out the EVs!
The Sunshine Coast has been in the top for EV adoption in North America and this event showed us why!
