Once again, the Great Cookie Caper is taking place at St. John’s United Church from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 12.
The elves at St. John’s have organized an amazing selection of their best Christmas cookies displayed on large trays so you can walk through and choose a variety of delicacies to fill your container. Trays will be replenished hourly to ensure a good selection. Gluten free cookies and those with spirits such as rumballs will be on separate tables.
Upon entry, each guest will be given a glove and a clear plastic container. Fill your container full of assorted cookies as a gift for shut-in friends, hostess gifts, and for those who are pressed for time and would like to have a variety of home baking for Christmas.
Proceeds from this fun event go to St. John’s United and the Food Bank.
