Inclusion Powell River Society (formerly the Powell River Association for Community Living) is a grassroots, non-profit society that provides a wide range of supports to people with developmental delays or disabilities and their families and to adults with acquired brain injury.

The Society is expanding the services it provides to seniors in Powell River and is also interested to know if there is also a need for housing for seniors in Sechelt.

Just a few of the questions the Society is thinking about include: Should we build specialized housing for seniors? If so, what should that look like? Would you prefer to live where there is a mix of ages? Do you want services delivered in your own home?

The Society wants to know what you think about these ideas. Residents can share their views at one of two public meetings. The first is in Sechelt at 2 p.m. on April 8 at the Lions Greencourt Hall, 5583 Ocean Avenue, Sechelt. Reserve your spot online at http:guestlist/233916 or call 604-485-6411, ext. 0.

The second meeting is also April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre. Reserve your spot in Gibsons at http:guestlist/233922 or call 604-485-6411, ext. 0.
