The Drop Dead Gorgeous Pole Walking group raised $1,700 this year by collecting toonies each week and setting up white elephant sales throughout the year to contribute towards local charities.
During their recent Christmas luncheon, it was determined that this year the funds would be split between Sunshine Coast Trails Society, Gibsons Wildlife Rehab Centre and the Cold Weather Shelter at St. Hilda’s church.
