The Drop Dead Gorgeous Pole Walkers group raised $1,340 in 2018 by collecting toonies each week to contribute towards local charities. During their recent Christmas luncheon, it was determined that this year the funds would be donated to the Sunshine Coast Trails Society, the Sechelt Groves Society, St. Hilda’s Church, the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre and the Sechelt Hospital Loans Cupboard. Maureen Brown and Agnes Muri presented a cheque for $300 to Wendy Hunt, chair of the Loan Cupboard.”
