'Olivia radiated love and warmth to all that knew her. Her love for her family was ever present and she was the happiest when all her “dear ones” were together.'

April 24, 1930 - December 2, 2022

Our dearest Olivia passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 2nd.  She was surrounded by the love of her family in her final days. Born in Middleton, Prince Edward Island to Wilfred and Isobel Craig, Olivia had many happy memories of growing up in the farm with her two brothers and two sisters and she loved to share her early life there with us all.

She ventured out west as a young woman where she met Bob and they were married in 1950. They settled in West Vancouver where they raised their four children and in 1972 began a new chapter in their lives, moving to Gibsons where they owned and operated “Quality Farm Supply”. Over the years they expanded and it became a garden and pet store as well, eventually taken over by son David and his wife Betty. Olivia was very active in the community, volunteering with the hospital auxiliary, helping in bake sales, and bowling!

She made some very dear friends over the years and was sure to keep in touch with them all. Bob and Olivia treasured their 45 happy years living on the Sunshine Coast. In 2017 they moved to Victoria to be close to their daughters. Olivia radiated love and warmth to all that knew her. Her love for her family was ever present and she was the happiest when all her “dear ones” were together.

Predeceased by her parents and brothers John and Arthur and her dear little dog Ozzie, Olivia will be deeply missed and forever loved by her husband Bob, son Donald (Dawn) daughter Louise (Art), son David (Betty), daughter Diane (Steve), grandchildren Kevin, Ryan, Nicole, Natalie, Heather, Nick, Kristen, Lindsay, Carlee, Lauren and Emily, 15 great-grandchildren, her dear sisters Louise (Greg) and Cathy, brother-in-law Ken (Bette) and her many nieces and nephews all of whom she held dear.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
