It is with immeasurable sadness that we let everyone know of the passing of our very much-loved son, brother, father and papa, Alan Edward Fiedler. Alan passed on his own terms after fighting a hard battle with a very aggressive cancer. He is survived by his parents Ken and Fay Fiedler, his sister Terri (Chris), his daughter Chelsie (Seamus), his granddaughter River Ivy Anna, his son Blake and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom will miss him deeply. He is predeceased by his mother Lin. Alan was handed many obstacles over the course of his short life but he met them all head on. He worked hard, loved to fish, loved to cook, to eat and to travel, always up for the next adventure. But above all he loved his family and friends with all he had. None of us can imagine our lives without him. Rest easy Al, no more pain, no more suffering. There are not enough words to express our thanks for the care and kindness Alan received over the course of this struggle. Dr. Goojha, Dr. McColl, Dr. Adams, Dr. Smith and every amazing nurse who was there for him along his journey. A private family party, as he would wish, with plenty of food, love and laughter will be held at a later date under the warmth of the sun, one of Alan’s favourite places to be.
