Library hosts stroke therapy workshop

Stroke survivors suffer disabling effects and difficulties leaving caregivers to support daily living activities.

Stroke survivors suffer disabling effects and difficulties leaving caregivers to support daily living activities. Current research "into neuro-plasticity (the capacity of the brain to change in response to experience)" offers help through "advanced therapies."

Join Vineet Johnson, Capilano University professor, as he addresses some of these advance therapies during a session at the Gibsons Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The presentation is free, but registration is required by calling 604-886-2130.
