It's the time people have been waiting for - the 45th annual Sechelt Garden Club plant sale.

Always held just before Mother's Day, this occasion provides everyone with an opportunity to gather at the Seaside Centre on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon for a sale where plants do not cost the earth.

There are plants to suit all styles of gardens, from small balcony containers to large wilderness properties, from well-established to newly-created gardens. A garden reflects your personality and what this landscape means to you.

A diverse selection of perennials, annuals, succulents, flowering shrubs, grasses, ferns and familiar favourites like phlox and cranesbill, will be available for you to choose just what you would like. Some plants will be for shade, others will be drought resistant and enjoy sunshine. Discover different types of foliage, a range of colours that suit your garden design.

There are vegetables too for you to dig to your veggie plot, along with a variety of herbs and herb planters. Members of the Sechelt Garden Club will be on hand to answer questions and to help you with your selections. For the children there will be time to create a miniature garden, sow some seeds, pot up a plant - all for mother and grandmother.
