Close to 100 people came out to the inaugural Santa Cause Dance fundraiser at the Gibsons Public Market on Saturday night, Dec. 13.

Hosted by the Alliance of Gibsons Businesses and the Sunshine Coast Coffee News, the holiday event helped raise funds for the Elves Club and Gibsons Wildlife Rehab Centre.

The Gibsons Rotary Club also lent their support, tending bar for the evening.

Jeff Rhodes from Coastal Craft presented a separate donation of $2,500 to Lynn Nestman from the Elves Club.

Thousands more were also donated to both charities after the tickets were counted up.
