Seven-year-old Tristan McLeod got to ride the IGA truck between Gibsons and Wilson Creek after his mom Michelle sent Bob Hoy of MarketPlace IGA a picture of the truck that Tristan drew at school.
“He loves big rig trucks and is especially fond of the IGA trucks,” Michelle said.
In return, Bob presented Tristan with a personalized employee shirt, a limited edition Model T IGA truck and a ride in the truck to Wilson Creek Marketplace IGA, courtesy of driver Dan Vaughan of H.Y. Louie Co.
“Such a fantastic experience and smiles from ear to ear,” said Michelle, who thanked Bob and Dan for the memorable experience.
