April Tools Festival this Saturday, April 28 is a full day of great activities at Millennium Park including the main events boat building and races.

While you are at April Tools, stop by the Harbour Gallery and take in their exhibition, Local Landmarks. The Gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Keep up to date with our thriving little thrift store and find out details of their upcoming Fashion Show and Brunch happening at the Legion Sunday, May 6 – fun, food raffles prizes, auction items and more. Tickets can be purchased at the Legion and Harbour Insurance – they are selling quickly. 

A Celebration of Life for Bob Adkin will be held this Sunday April 29, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the PH Aquatic and Fitness Centre.

Bob Adkin was an integral part of the Pender Harbour Aquatic and Fitness Centre. He served as the President of the Aquatic Society for over 18 years and spent countless hours helping the facility be the best it could be. Come join the aquatic staff on this day to celebrate his life, share stories, join in on a swim. Let’s swim Bob’s traditional morning swim of 80 laps! Swim solo or as a team.

The Legion is hosting the Grads quiz night Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Get your team together and come early to enjoy the food specials beforehand.

The 15th annual Pender Harbour Blues Festival tickets are on sale now for fantastic performances by stellar stars June 1 to 3. See www.phblues.ca for schedule details and ticket purchase. Tickets are also available at the Legion, Java Docks and Strait Music in Sechelt.
