The Pender Harbour Wildlife Society is welcoming Ryan Logtenberg from the 2 Degrees Institute, on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at Pender Harbour Secondary School. He will illustrate the major sources of our individual and household emissions and show us how we can substantially reduce our carbon footprint without too much effort or expense and become part of the solution in slowing climate change. The Legion will hold its Giant Garage Sale Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donated items can be dropped off at the Legion April 16 to 20. Please no books, old clothes or electronics – just items that can be easily carried.
The Harbourside Friendship get together Thursday, April 19 will welcome Jennifer Edwards, registered nurse. Meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. at the PH Community Hall with lunch served at noon. Drop in is $10.
April 20 at 2 p.m. the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society will hold its annual AGM at Sarah Wray Hall. Hear updates on the previous year’s events and activities and preview what’s in store for 2018. Volunteer and join the Board of Directors. Elections will be held at the AGM.
