This Saturday is the last day of the annual Christmas Show and Sale at the Harbour Gallery. Selected pieces in the gallery have been reduced by up to 25 per cent. Along with their 2016 works, the member artists have also created pieces reflecting this year’s theme of Let It Snow.
Also this Saturday, Dec. 17, the Legion hosts its annual gigantic Christmas ham and turkey meat draw and pie auction. Pick up your tickets for New Year’s Eve prime rib dinner and dance while you are there, with live music by Playback – danceable tunes from the ‘60s to the ‘80s.
The B3 Kings are back by popular demand this Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at the School of Music. Tickets are $25 at Harbour Insurance, Sechelt Visitor Centre and online at www.penderharbourmusic.ca
The annual Polar Express Light Tour is Dec. 20. Come onboard and be a judge of the Christmas light displays. The bus leaves the Community Hall at 7 p.m. and returns approximately 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 at Harbour Insurance and EarthFair Store.
Merry Christmas to all from the Pender Harbour Community School. They will be closed from Dec. 19, reopening Jan. 3. Programs starting again in January are kids art classes, drop in sports and more.
