The Vintage Christmas Market is also Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sarah Wray Hall with Christmas music and refreshments. This is a fundraiser for the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society, Ispira Vocal Per-formance Ensemble and the Pender Harbour Choir. On Sunday at Sarah Wray Hall, 1 to 3 p.m., take in the Art Show and Christmas Party. Pender Harbour Music Society’s November concert features audience favourite Archie Fisher, Sunday Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at the School of Music. It’s not often that a musical legend comes to call, but Scottish singer/songwriter/music producer Fisher is all that and more. An unassuming man, his solo work and collaborations with U.K. stars such as Liam Clancey and Tommy Makem, and Nova Scotia fiddler Garnet Rogers, have placed him among the greats of the world folk music. The Pender Harbour Aquatic Society is holding their AGM at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at the PH Senior Secondary School library. This non-profit, volunteer group acts as an interface between the Community and the PH Aquatic and Fitness Centre. New members and board members most welcome. Join Pender Harbour Women’s Connection Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the School of Music 10 a.m. to see what the ukulele buzz is all about as HUGS (Harbour Ukulele Group Strummers) one of the Harbour’s great musical groups, play winter and Christmas favourites. Group leader Helga Grout has always enjoyed helping folks in the community come together and sharing fun. She will lead a conversation on “Where does music live in your life?”

Friday yoga classes with floor mat exercises are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by chair yoga 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All activities are at the Hall.
Serendipity Child Development Centre is having their annual Christmas Craft Fair Extravaganza Nov. 26, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pender Harbour Community Hall. Santa is coming, and delicious hot lunch will be cooking in the kitchen. Shop for everyone on your list at tables of treasure from great local vendors and win at the 50/50 and silent auction. The Pender Harbour Reading Centre’s Bucks for Books campaign continues until the end of November. Please consider supporting this worthwhile cause. Funds go directly to the purchase of more great reading material for everyone’s enjoyment. Taxable receipts for amounts over $20 will be provided. The Reading Centre is open Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
