The Loon Foundation hosts is 20th Anniversary Bash tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. behind The Earthfair Store in downtown Madeira Park. Enjoy live music from Bellows and Strings, Joe Stanton, and Simon Paradis, Widdershins and Deborah Holland, guest speakers including award winning Canadian filmmaker Dianne Whelan while sipping virgin mojitos and snacking on delicious local pizza. There will be an unveiling of a mural installation, and a sneak peek at the Tranquility Garden project. Come celebrate how far they have come and what the future holds.
Fun for the whole family; Pizza Plantapalooza, Honeybee Quenchers, You Jelly?, My Sunshine Coast, face painting and have a laugh with the clowns.

Senior Initiatives Activities at The Hall for September include Carpet Bowling Wednesdays 1 to 3 p.m. and Chair Yoga, Mondays and Fridays 11 a.m. to noon with Carole Logtenberg. Drop-in fee $3.
