The Christmas season is upon us with no restrictions and the month of December is full of joyful events. This time last year I was checking vaccine passports at the Christmas Market at the Hall. Don that Christmas sweater, Santa hat and play that Christmas music! Here we go!

Doors open at 10 a.m. for the Pender Harbour Community School Christmas Craft Fair Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Hall. Artisans will have beautiful handmade treasures for everyone on your gift list and treats for yourself.

Dec. 10, a week later, you have second Christmas shopping experience at the Pender Harbour Community Club’s Christmas Market. There will be a White Elephant Table, a Silent Auction, and a Bake Table. The call is out for donations to fill the offerings. Please contact Lesley Durrant at 604-883-2992 or www.sunshinevilla.ca, [email protected]

The Harbour Gallery will be participating in both craft fairs Dec. 3 and 10. They will have exquisite Christmas cards, art cards, prints and original artwork. The gallery will also be open on those two Saturdays as well so do visit both locations. Shop local and give the gift of art!
