The community association’s Lazy Daze (seen here in 2022), is back at Coopers Green.

Mark your calendars for Friday, Aug. 22, as Halfmoon Bay brings back its popular Lazy Daze summer event at Coopers Green Park from 4 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature live performances by two local favourites: Spindrift Street and Them Ordinary Things. The Halfmoon Bay Community Association is firing up the grill, offering food for purchase alongside a licensed area for those looking to enjoy a cold beverage while taking in the entertainment.

Admission is free for HBCA members, with non-members welcome for a $10 entry fee. Youth under 18 can attend at no charge, making this an affordable option for families looking to enjoy a summer evening together.

Whether you’re looking to catch up with neighbours, enjoy some live music, or simply relax on a warm August evening, Lazy Daze offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate summer in Halfmoon Bay. Bring your lawn chairs and an appetite for a memorable night at one of the area’s most ionic waterfront parks.

The Halfmoon Bay Community Association (HBCA) is a non-profit organization that represents the community of Halfmoon Bay. The mission of the HBCA is to foster a sense of community, pride and spirit through the engagement of our diverse population in activities that support our unique lifestyle.

Are you interested in becoming a Halfmoon Bay Community Association member? If you’re a resident or property owner in Halfmoon Bay (Area B), consider purchasing an annual membership! By doing so, you demonstrate your willingness to support the community you live in. Monies go toward direct and indirect expenses associated with holding events and activities for the community and other projects.

Thank you to the HBCA for all you do and to Mike Budd for helping support this week’s write up. For information on events, memberships, upcoming events and more, visit halfmoon-bay.ca.
