Joe Stanton, the Halfmoon Bay Community Association music director, has put together three entertainment packages for this year in February, April and June.
The first is on Friday, Feb. 3 at Coopers Green Hall with live music from Tube Radio – Boyd Norman, Gary McGuire, Brent Fitzsimmons, Ian McLatchie and Andrew Bate – with a smooth blend of folk, soul and country. For an added bonus, special guest Simon Paradis will join them. This certainly kicks off the first music extravaganza with a full value package. Wear your dancing shoes! Doors open at 7 p.m.; music starts at 7:30 p.m. Snacks, beer and wine will be available. Tickets are on sale now at Welcome Woods Market and Halfmoon Bay General Store. Get your tickets ASAP as these events have always sold out in past years.
Drop in and play pickleball Wednesday evenings at the Halfmoon Bay Elementary School gym. Please wear workout gear and runners. All equipment is provided. Cost is $3 per session. First time is free. There are three courts in play, one dedicated to beginners with instruction provided, the other two follow the level play format set out by the Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association. For more information, email Don Cunliffe at [email protected] or Tim Dayton at [email protected].
Mark your calendar for the Halfmoon Bay Fair – the date this year will be the second weekend in July, the 8th and 9th.
