Halfmoon Bay Community School and Halfmoon Bay Community Association will be holding the third annual Breakfast with Santa in the Community School gym on Northwood Road, this Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets will be available at the door – $6 per person, $20 family (two adults, two children – includes a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. We are also collecting dry goods for the Food Bank.
The event is a tremendous family experience, a festive and delicious way for everyone to make this worthwhile event part of your Christmas memories. It forms a treasured part of the history of Halfmoon Bay. We hope you will attend.
There will be no more pickleball this year. It will start up again Jan. 4, 2017.
Support British Colum-bia’s search and rescue volunteers and get a chance to win an amazing dive experience in the Stingray 500 submarine. The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue volunteers are offering raffle tickets with a prize of a two-hour dive in the Stingray sub operated by Aquatica Submarines. The underwater experience is valued at $5,000. The three-person sub is certified to 500 feet deep and can spend several hours exploring below the surface. Tickets are $5 each and available from your local RCM-SAR volunteers. The prize draw will take place Dec. 14. Contact the local office [email protected] for tickets.
