An excellent learning opportunity for youngsters during Spring Break is the Nature Photography Camp for youth ages eight to 12. It runs from Tuesday, March 22 to Thursday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Iris Griffith Centre. Register at the EarthFair store in Madeira Park (604-883-9006).

Employment opening for six Coast students during the summer – the Ruby Lake Lagoon Society is pleased to offer employment for a small team of energetic university summer students with an interest in sciences and participating with the local community in various stewardship roles.
To be eligible for employment, students must have been enrolled in full-time studies during the previous academic year and be enrolled in full-time studies in the fall.
Positions to be filled include Iris Griffith Centre education assistant, IGC biodiversity program assistant and PODS sustainability steward.
