There is a meeting of community groups and organizations for Halfmoon Bay on Tuesday, March 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Coopers Green Hall, sponsored by the Halfmoon Bay Information and Referral Centre.
The idea of this meeting is for all groups to get together to share ideas and events for 2016. With many planned events, fundraisers and gatherings, there is a lot of cross over between groups in both attendance and participation. The invitation goes out to anyone in the community interested in community involvement and Halfmoon Bay events to get together over tea/coffee and snacks to discuss the year ahead. Please RSVP Wendy at 604-551-8461 or [email protected]
The Halfmoon Bay Elementary student council is raising funds for a Tbuddy benchb for the schoolyard, and they are also having a book sale. The book sale will be open to parents and the community after school March 7 and 8, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and March 9, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
