Team Canada competed in December at the International Dance Organization World Championships in Poland and took second place in the competition.

Congratulations on winning a silver medal to Grade 6 Halfmoon Bay Elementary School student Jasmyn Evered, who danced for the Coast Academy of Dance.

Jasmyn was selected to Team Canada in July 2013.

Joe Stanton and Simon Paradis released their new CD 'Good Road Home' at a sold-out performance in Coopers Green Hall last Saturday night. This dynamic duo's musickept the audience captivated and truly showcased our homegrown talent.

For those who could not attend, watch out for a possible return performance in March. Kudos too the Welcome Beach Community Association for hosting anothersuccessfulevent.

Drivers please look out for those pedestrians, who look stunning wearing their favorite black outfit when out for a walk after dark.
