A heads up for those of you who may have had a glass of wine or beer to celebrate the holidays, the Halfmoon Bay Guides and Pathfinders will be hosting a bottle drive in the Welcome Woods area this month. Please save your bottles for them. Dates and times will be announced in upcoming columns.

Apologies for any inconvenience this past week due a delayed opening of Strongstart after the holiday break. We will be back on schedule Monday, Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and look forward to seeing you all. We are also hosting a family potluck for those of you with children zero to five, same day, this Monday. Hope to see you here in the school gym at 5 p.m. Bring your own dishes, cutlery and a dish to share and enjoy reconnecting with friends.

A reminder to take a moment to sign up for Music Time with Tone Indbryn this week. We are thrilled to have her here at the school this winter, as she brings a wealth of experience and training and we look forward to learning from her.
