On Sunday, July 26, Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast will be hosting its first 7-Stop Poker Run for motorcycle enthusiasts on the Sunshine Coast. Other Habitats across Canada have held similar events in the past. It is an opportunity to have an adventurous day with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts as well as contribute to a good cause. The proceeds of the event will go towards building a home for a hard-working, deserving family on the Coast.

The run will start out at the Blackfish Pub in Gibsons at 9:30 a.m. Participants will be invited to stop at seven points along the beautiful Sunshine Coast as far as Madeira Park to draw a card and have their poker hand sheet stamped, as well as put in their entries for draws at each site. The run finishes with a barbecue dinner at the Buccaneer Restaurant in Sechelt.  Prizes will be awarded for the top poker hands. The cost, including dinner and registration, is $50 per player. Dinner only is $20.

Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast invites all riders to come out and have a fun adventure for a good cause.

Information posters and registration sheets are available at Habitat ReStore in Sechelt or online at www.habitatsc.ca. Or call Sheila at 604-885-6737 or 604-818-3496.
