The Sunshine Coast Art Crawl takes place this weekend, Oct. 21 to 23. There are 130 venues on this year’s annual artists’ studio tour, and approximately 30 of them are in the Creek. See details at www.sunshinecoastartcrawl.ca
On Saturday, Oct. 22 there is a workshop at Living Faith Lutheran Church in Davis Bay, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This workshop will be focused on the 94 Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
The little Roberts Creek library will be open regular hours including Sunday during fall and winter. As usual, they have all the latest novels including The High Mountains of Portugal by Yann Martel, his most recent. The Giller Prize short-list is out and they will be offering every book on the list as soon as they can process them. Don’t forget, dear reader, that you can reserve any of the latest books.
