The Roberts Creek Library will hold their monthly book sale this Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will continue during library hours on Sunday, May 8. Come on down and stock up on summer reading material.
Tuesday, May 10 has been designated Auxiliary Day in recognition of the members who volunteer and raise money for the healthcare facilities in the community. The Roberts Creek Branch of the SC Healthcare Auxiliary will be holding their monthly meeting on that day at the Roberts Creek Legion. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. and newcomers are most welcome.
At this time of year, we all go to the beach as I did on the weekend. I spent some time cleaning up debris on the trail down and at the beach itself. This reminds me that this is the time of year when we clean up around our community.
The 6th Roberts Creek Scout group is now registering for the fall. We have programs for ages five to seven (Beavers), eight to 10 (Cubs) and 11 to 14 (Scouts) and all sections are co-ed. If you are interested, contact 604-741-7282 for more information on registration and how your youth can enjoy a great outdoor program based at Camp Byng.
