This Friday, Feb. 26 at the Legion, enjoy dinner with live music. Hum along with the Organics Jazz Trio (6 to 7:30 p.m.) while dinner is served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Legion, enjoy a DJ Night with Legion of Boom and the Funkdealer, starting at 9 p.m.
Also on Saturday, Feb. 27, the annual fundraiser dance for the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (www.thescca.ca) will feature live music with Brothers in Farms and the Knotty Dotters Marimba Band, starting at 8 p.m. at Roberts Creek Community Hall. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Gaia’s Fair Trade and the Sechelt Visitor Centre. Come on out and celebrate conservation in our community!
On Sunday, Feb. 28, Governor General award-winning author John Valliant will hold a book reading at the Hall from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
On Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m., stop by the Farm Gate Market at the Hall. Thyme of Your Life also offers take-out farm fresh cooked meals. On Thursdays Curry in the Creek is at the hall from 3 to 6 p.m.
On March 5, come “Celebrate Your Yoga Self” with SoulCollage at Yoga by the Sea in Roberts Creek from 1 to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required at 604-886-6520.
