The Roberts Creek Legion wishes to announce that beginning in February, chef Dylan Clark will be adding a dinner night on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. He will offer the same great meals at the same great price of $9. Table games will be on hand, and the dinner hours are family-friendly.
The popular annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash is on Saturday, Feb. 6 starting at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $6 for members and $12 for non-members. The Hoolicans and Randeesh will be joined by Mz Jeevious and DJ Nils. Bring your dancing shoes and come on down.
The next meeting of the Roberts Creek branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Roberts Creek Legion, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Follow The Only Animal Theatre Society deep into the woods on Feb. 13 for Sticks and Stones, a forest puppet show, for children under age 10. This event will reveal the secret strange creatures of the undergrowth, some tender and green, some ancient, and puppets made from sticks, leaves and moss will show you the forest anew. There are two shows, one at noon and one at 2 p.m. at a secret location in Roberts Creek. Tickets are by donation (suggested $10), and reservations are required.
