Join the fun at the Roberts Creek Legion this Friday, Aug. 14 as one of the woodworking students, Chen Appel, will be playing dinner music. From Israel, she’s heading back home on Sunday, so this is her going away party and last chance for anyone to see her if they missed her the first time she played. She’s been holding the crowds in thrall at the Tuesday night jams with her original songs and voice (she plays guitar).
Same Friday, at 8:30 p.m., we have Chris Ronald in concert, who was nominated for Songwriter of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Hope to see you there.
Creek Daze is this Saturday, Aug. 15 in Roberts Creek. There will be a book and bake sale at the library from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Higgledy Piggledy Parade starts at 11 a.m. Please muster at the Roberts Creek Hall at 10:45 if you wish to join the fun.
Entertainment at the Roberts Creek Pier starts at 11:30 a.m. and will feature Pamela Messner, Robin Atchinson, Brothers in Farms, Alex Carota, Mack Avery, DJ Aerion, Karmic Circle, DJ Nico, Keia Papa, and the Kaua Hula Dancers. Come and check out the amazing vendors and food!
After a full, fun day at the beach, come dance at Roberts Creek Hall with Roots Roundup, Astral Motion and DJ Aerion. Tickets are available at MELOmania or at the door for $20. No minors.
There will be no bus service on Lower Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the activities at Creek Daze.
