Tonight (Friday, Feb. 28) stop by the Roberts Creek Legion for dinner and music by Charlotte Wrinch a Sunshine Coast folk/pop/rock singer. There is no cover, but tips gratefully appreciated. Dinner is served from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

There is no cover, but tips gratefully appreciated. Dinner is served from 4:30 to 8 p.m. with music from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This Saturday enjoy The Walk on Dead as they return to the Legion with their mix of classic Grateful Dead tunes.Admission is $5 for members and $10 for guests with members.

As tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month, that means a book sale at the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lots of great book bargains I'm sure.

On Sunday morning, catch another soccer Sunday at the Legion starting at 8 a.m. There is a $2 cover charge and a $5 charge for breakfast.

Coming on Friday, March 7 here will be Friday dinner music with Bonar Harris at the Legion from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Next Saturday, March 8 at 6 p.m. is the annual International Women's Day potluck at the Roberts Creek Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. This event includes guest speaker Vicki Dobbin who retired last year after many years with Sunshine Coast Community Services, local voices and much, much more. The event is free, so come on down.

Many thanks to Yvonne Van Norman our outgoing library president. Your work at the library has been appreciated. We now welcome president Elaine Seepish for 2014. The library is an important community resource and we do appreciate all the volunteers who take on this role.
