Gibsons man sells Ukraine solidarity t-shirts

Like many Canadians, Gibsons resident Neil MacEachern was appalled and saddened by Russia’s acts of war in Ukraine.

He was inspired by the Ukrainian defiance at Snake Island on the first day of the war, when a small contingent of Ukrainian soldiers told Russian naval boats “Russky voyenny korabl, idi na khuy.” (“Russian warship, go f– yourself!”) He made a silk screen of the now famous retort and printed it in blue on yellow t-shirts (the colours of  the Ukrainian flag), marketing them on social media.

Selling them for $25 + shipping (or local pick up) he has shipped 50 of them around the world, with all profits going to the Ukrainian defence fund and the Red Cross.
