This Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 24 and 25, the Gibsons community shuttle will be stopping three times a day at Shirley Macey Park to accommodate attendees of the fourth annual Synchronicity Festival.

Attendees can pick up the shuttle in Lower Gibsons, or at any of the designated stops along the way, at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The shuttle will run from Lower Gibsons up Gibsons Way turn right on North Road, right on Reed, left on Chamberlin, stop at Shirley Macey Park, continue on to North Road and loop back to its regular route through Upper Gibsons.

The shuttle is a pilot project administered by the Gibsons Chamber of Commerce with the generous support of Sunnycrest Mall, the Town of Gibsons, the Sunshine Coast Regional District, Sunshine Coast Credit Union, and Community Futures.

Produced by deer crossing the art farm, in partnership with Sunshine Coast Credit Union, the fourth annual Synchronicity Festival will feature the always-popular Rainforest Circus (the 2013 "take a chance" version), more jaw-dropping art installations, world-class roaming musicians, delectable local food, a marketplace of social and creative entrepreneurs and a host of new and exciting first-time collaborations including: an art farm-inspired "Causeway of Chance", a human-scale board game by Roberts Creek's very own The Only Animal Theatre Company, and a Saturday Night Carnivale featuring shadow puppetry by Mind of a Snail Puppet Co. and funk music by Brown Paper Bag that'll get you dancing under the stars.

Check out the Synchronicity website for more photos and details on the event at www.synchronicityfestival.ca and the Gibsons Chamber of Commerce website for more details on the shuttle at www.gibsonschamber.com.
