The first concert of the Do Re TEA series, featuring Golden Echo was a resounding success. The intimate space and excellent acoustics at Living Faith Lutheran Church, the little white church in Davis Bay, followed by the mouth-watering homemade scones and strawberry jam created a magical experience that satisfied all of the senses.

On May 31 the second concert of the series will feature Gemini.

Twins seem to generate universal curiosity. Valerie and Julie Rutter, the multi-talented musicians who are Gemini, are no exception - transfixing audiences with their uncanny ability to synchronize so naturally. They have a reputation for passionate committed playing, for sensitive musical artistry, and for sharing their genuine love and joy of music-making with their audiences.

Gemini's well-crafted performances include works for piano four-hands, flute and piano, recorder and piano, as well as flute and recorder. Their repertoire spans six centuries, from Renaissance to Contemporary music. They also provide their listeners with informative descriptions of the music and instruments, interwoven with amusing and entertaining anecdotes.

The twin sisters feel very blessed to make the Sunshine Coast their home where they are next-door neighbours, and both enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels.
